IECSUFE provides students with a series of authoritative, economical, safe, international education courses and training service.

The college currently offers various international education programs, ranging from foundation courses, diploma courses, credit exemption courses, and the training of studying abroad. Its educational system includes 1+3 (1 year in IECSUFE, 3 years in oversea partner universities, the same below), 2+2, 3+1 undergraduate program and 0.5+1, 1+1 pre-master program.

After completing language training, bridge courses and credit exemption courses, students will apply for our partner universities for further study on the condition they meeting the admission requirements of these overseas universities. Upon successfully finishing the overseas studies, the students will obtain a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, awarded by our overseas partner universities, which will be recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

The Programs for high school graduates

1.Study Abroad Training Program (SATP)

Study Abroad Training Program (SATP), which is designed for high school graduates who are determined to pursue bachelor degrees in top universities in the US, UK, Australia, Canada or New Zealand, etc.. Our goal is to cultivate all-round students who have international, innovative and divergent visions. The learning pathway of SATP could be 0.5+3/4, 1+3 or 2+2.

The qualified candidates will study in IECSUFE for one to four semesters, then heading for our partner universities pursuing their Bachelor Degree. After successfully completing all the curriculums, the students will obtain a bachelor’s degree awarded by our overseas partner universities, which is recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

2.CSCSE SQA-AD program

The CSCSE SQA AD program was jointly brought in by the Chinese (Ministry of Education) Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) and the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA). IECSUFE was one of the first authorized institutions of this program launched in 2003.

The students are able to obtain the certificate of SQA AD after successfully completing a 3-year studying and then go abroad for 1 year of further study to pursue bachelor's degrees awarded by foreign partner universities once they meet the graduation requirements, and the degrees will be recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

3.International Pre-master Program

International Pre-Master Program is developed by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics independently, aiming at establishing a training program that can have a seamless articulation with overseas post-graduate courses.

The program has been recognized by many renowned universities from the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries. After accomplishing 0.5-1 year language training, academic courses, and passing IELTS, students can apply for further study in our partner universities on condition that they meet the admission requirements of the university. After completing 1-1.5 years of study abroad, students will obtain Master's degrees awarded by our overseas partner universities, which will be recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
